Seismic Observer jobs on a permanent or freelance basis

The Seismic Observer is responsible for the accurate setup and operation of all seismic recording systems and streamers with associated hardware/devices onboard the vessel. The Seismic Observer participates in small boat operations including in-water equipment maintenance & Fast Rescue Craft formalities. They are responsible for all in-sea recording equipment, which can include up to 80km of towed streamer. They will deploy seismic spreads of this scale required thorough planning and excellent teamwork. Seismic Observer - skills required

• Relevant experience with Syntrak, MSX, or Seal Recording systems and Seismic Gun Controller systems.
• Minimum one-year offshore experience (operator positions)
• Minimum five years offshore experience (senior positions)
• Current offshore survival and medical certification
