PURPOSE OF JOB:

Working within the Engineering Services Contract Tender Team reporting to the Tender Lead within the Surface Facilities Department. Directly responsible for co-ordination of all Transition activities related to either Onshore or Offshore EPCM tenders and contracts, ensuring related deliverables and responsible parties are expedited in accordance with the project schedule - up to and including Contract Award.

Key to this role is the use of prior experience to ensure that all related transition activities are professionally coordinated and completed in line with the related Transition schedule. The successful candidate will be expected to play a leading role in securing delivery of the overall transition schedule, ensuring all internal stakeholders are aligned and that related deliverables and accountabilities are expedited and are of suitable quality. In addition the Transition coordinator will deputize for their opposite number as required (onshore and offshore).  

ACCOUNTABILITIES :

Lead the co-ordination of all transition activities for one of the new EPCM Tenders (Onshore and Offshore) from the existing NISC Contract.

Accountable for ensuring on-time delivery of related deliverables - by responsible parties within the internal organization.

Accountable for developing a level 4 overall transition schedule for the respective tender and ensuring other controlling deliverables are approved and utilized effectively.

Owner of risk register for tender related transition activities - working with opposite number and reporting to Tender Lead to ensure robust identification and mgt of risks to the tender and transition process.

A simple RMP (compliant with SF QMS) should be developed.

Support the Development, completion and use of a Transition procedure (will robustly identify, by discipline, each area of transition and required timelines, deliverables, resources).

Support the development, completion, approval and use of associated transition cost models.

Utilize their prior experience in Transition activities to ensure a seamless, on time, safe, robust and cost effective transition between the existing NISC and new (replacement) EPCM Contract Utilize their prior experience in Transition activities to support the NISC Contract Mgt Team in the on time, safe, robust and cost effective closure of the NISC Contract

Work with the existing tender team to identify opportunities for time optimization, present and acquire approval and take ownership for implementation.

Ensure very close working relationship with the relevant tender co-coordinator.

Sponsor and be accountable for Need to Know Confidentiality in all aspects of this work.

Play a leading role in communicating the need for protection of confidentiality - work closely with the tender lead to ensure zero loss and incidents in this area.

Deputize on behalf the tender lead (and or co-coordinators) as required or requested.

Support the weekly reporting and action tracking activities.

Monitor tender team in accordance with schedule and provide steer on an on-going basis to ensure maximum operational performance.

If requested : Provide support for on-going tender activities within the tender team. If requested : Travel to related work locations within Norway to provide support to site managers (current NISC or new Tender)

If Requested : Provide discipline support to site managers (current NISC or new Tender)
